Traditional Chinese Medicine is a comprehensive system of healthcare that has evolved in China over the last 3,000 years.
Traditional Chinese Medicine regards the body as an organic whole, which should exist in harmony with the universe and where all the different parts are interconnected and interactive. Its emphasis, first of all is on health promotion and illness prevention. When one falls ill, the focus of the treatment is on the person suffering from the illness rather than on the illness itself. A good practitioner, therefore will not only deal with the physical symptoms but will also look at other relevant aspects of the patient's life, such as climatic factors, diet, life style, and social environment.
FORMS OF TREATMENT
Acupuncture, although often described as a means of pain relief, acupuncture it is in fact used to treat people with a wide range of illnesses. Traditionally, acupuncture is an holistic approach to the management of disease as well as the day-to-day maintenance of health.
By inserting fine needles into the channels of energy, an acupuncturist can stimulate the body's own healing response and help restore its natural balance.
Only single use disposal acupuncture needles are used in our clinic.
Tui Na Remedial Massage is similar in its beneficial effects to acupuncture, only in Tui Na, hands or blunt instruments are used instead of needles. Tui Na is widely used for stress, anxiety, pain as well as for general wellbeing.
Many types of Tui Na are available at our clinic.

Herbal Medicine is more widely used than acupuncture. The herbs and herbal remedies we use are composed of roots, bark, flowers, seeds, fruits, leaves, and branches. Based on the theoretical understanding of herbs, qualified practitioners use natural herbs to re-establish harmony and balance, and promote and enhance the body's resistance to ill health.
The herbs we use in our clinic are regulated by the UK Governmental body, the Medicine & Health Products Regulatory Agency.
Allergy Testing is suitable for all age groups, safe and pain free as the testing can be done simply from a sample of hair. Over 400 everyday items can be tested, include all additives in food and drinks, various types of sweeterners, vegetables, fats and dairy products, meets, fruits, nuts, grains, herbs and spices, house dust mite, animal hair, nicotine, tap water, plants, biological washing products etc, also all vitamin and mineral deficiencies will shown on your test report.
