FORMS OF TREATMENT

Acupuncture, although often described as a means of pain relief, acupuncture it is in fact used to treat people with a wide range of illnesses. Traditionally, acupuncture is an holistic approach to the management of disease as well as the day-to-day maintenance of health.
By inserting fine needles into the channels of energy, an acupuncturist can stimulate the body's own healing response and help restore its natural balance.

Only single use disposal acupuncture needles are used in our clinic.

Tui Na Remedial Massage is similar in its beneficial effects to acupuncture, only in Tui Na, hands or blunt instruments are used instead of needles. Tui Na is widely used for stress, anxiety, pain as well as for general wellbeing.

Many types of Tui Na are available at our clinic.
Herbal medicine is more widely used than acupuncture. The herbs and herbal remedies we use are composed of roots, bark, flowers, seeds, fruits, leaves, and branches. Based on the theoretical understanding of herbs, qualified practitioners use natural herbs to re-establish harmony and balance, and promote and enhance the body's resistance to ill health.

The herbs we use in our clinic are regulated by the UK Governmental body, the Medicine & Health Products Regulatory Agency.

Allergy Testing is suitable for all age groups, safe and pain free as the testing can be done simply from a sample of hair.
